The world is filled with information, but also a lot of misinformation, presented as if it were the truth. No single truth purveyor, no matter how reliable, should be considered an infallible source of accurate information.

Don’t just look at a usually-reliable source to do all of the thinking, judging, and weighing for you. People are people and people make mistakes and/or act from various motives and intentions.

Even professors may sometimes pass along unverifiable rumor as if it were the truth. And even textbooks frequently include numerous factual errors.

So always use your own mind, do your own research and check and double check the facts and sources of the things you read or hear.

Mysterious Disc Seen From Airplane Window Explained


On 22 November 2015 a report of an unusual disc shaped object seen from an airplane window of an American Airlines flight from San Jose, Ca to Houston, TX above the desert on Oct 30, 2015, 12:00AM, was filed under Case nr 72656 at MUFON. The witness is wondering what the hell he/she had witnessed.

Though sightings like these are usually subject of wild speculations, they often have a rational explanation.

Sightings of a ‘floating city’ over China explained


A video of a mysterious cityscape in the clouds hovering over the Chinese city Foshan has gone viral this week. The footage which was recorded by a local resident, appears to show a huge city floating in the clouds.The apparition which was witnessed by hundreds of shocked local residents, only lasted a few minutes before completely disappearing.

Explanations for this startling video ranged from a secret NASA project, to a parallel universe, to an elaborate hoax to an actual atmospheric phenomenon.

#MH370: Latest Updates in the search for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370


Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 vanished without a trace en route to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Mar. 8, 2014 with 239 people on board. It departed at 12:41 a.m. local time, but air traffic control lost contact with the plane less than half an hour into the flight.

On Wednesday 29 July 2015, a piece of debris from a plane was found on the island of La Reunion, an island in the Indian Ocean about 500 miles east of Madagascar. On 3 Sept 2015 the object was confirmed by the French authorities to be a flaperon, a wing component from the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370.

Since then pieces of debris keep washing ashore along the East African coastlines and are being examined by authorities to establish their origin.

So far there are still no definitive answers to what happened to flight MH370 and the 239 souls it was carrying.
